Carlton Clark Cannon Sr.

Age 95, of Seaford, DE, died Thursday October 6, 2011 in Genesis Elder Care Seaford. Born in Seaford the son of the late Bertha Short and Wilmer J. Cannon, he was a mail carrier for the US Postal Service in Seaford.

Carlton was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge in Seaford, and was a past member of the Ruritan Club, and he was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church Seaford.

He is survived by 2 sons Wayne W. Cannon, and C. Clark Cannon Jr. both of Seaford; 3 grandchildren C. Clark Cannon III, Amy Eskridge, and Heather Shevland; and 9 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Lynn Mull Cannon, in 2002.

Services will be Monday October 10, at 2 pm in WATSON-YATES FUNERAL HOME, Front & King Streets, Seaford, DE where friends may call from 12 Noon to 2 pm prior to the services. Rev. Ed Kuhling will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford, DE.
