DEATH RELIEVED EVA LEWIS AFTER YEARS OF SUFFERING

Death came last Sunday afternoon to relieve the untold suffering of Miss Eva Lewis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Lewis of Coloma, who has been an invalid for the past nine years. Funeral services were held from the late home, Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. A.E. Gay. The large number of people in attendance and the beautiful floral offerings marked the interest and affection of the friends and neighbors of the deceased.

Evalyn Lorenna Lewis was born in Howard Township, Cass County, Michigan, January 28, 1905, and died August 23, 1925, at the home of her parents in Coloma. At the age of two months she moved to Coloma with her parents and twin sister, Elva. She attended school until 11 years of age, when she was injured, and has been a sufferer all the nine years since. She leaves to mourn her passing, besides her parents, two sisters--Mrs. John Wolff of Coloma, and her twin sister, Mrs. Charles Davison of Grand Rapids--two grandmothers--Mrs. Susan Bailey of Niles and Mrs. Rebecca Lewis of Spink's Corners, several aunts and uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
