Mr. Throckmorton was born here, son of the late George W. and Lila Ahearn Throckmorton. A carpenter, he was a charter member of the Oakhurst fire company.
Surviving, besides his wife, are two sons, Robert Throckmorton of this place and Leonard Throckmorton of Alameda, Cal.; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Lambert and Mrs. Lila Cassway of Astoria, L.I., nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held yesterday at the Woolley funeral home. Burial was in Glenwood cemetery, West Long Branch.
