Dorothy Elaine Adams, age 81, of Salisbury, Missouri died Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly, Missouri.
Dorothy was born September 28, 1929, in Forest Green, Missouri, the daughter of Ferdinand and Emilie Sanders.
Dorothy was baptized and confirmed in the Salem Lutheran Church of Forest Green. Dorothy was a homemaker. She was a member of the Salisbury Immanuel Lutheran Church.
In 1947 she married Joe Ray Adams and they were the parents of one daughter Rhonda Adams and they both preceded her in death.
Survivors are two sisters, Mae Emma Westhues of St. Charles, MO and Naomi Lilly of Ogden, Utah, one brother Harvey Sanders of Wichita, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, daughter, Rhonda; three sister, Alverda Rohwer, Marie Westhues and Otha Fern Ames; two brothers Willard Sanders and Estil Sanders.
Memorial graveside services are 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 14th at Eastlawn Memory Gardens east of Salisbury, Missouri under the direction of Summerville Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
