Clarence J. GARVER, 80, Moore Haven, Fla., and formerly of Kewanna, died at the St. Joseph Hospital, Port Charlotte, Fla., at 1:15 a.m. today.
Born June 9, 1902, in Pulaski County to John and Anna GAFF GARVER, he married Pauline BAGWELL, who survives. He was a retired Union Township farmer.
Surviving with the wife are three sons, Garold GARVER, Rochester, Ralph GARVER, Logansport, Paul GARVER, Casper, Wyo.; one sister, Ruth ROYER, Winamac; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. One son, one sister and one brother are deceased.
Rites are pending at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Kewanna.

Services for Clarence J. GARVER, 80, Moore Haven, Fla., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, the Rev. Keith SMITLEY officiating. Burial will be in the Bruce Lake Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Kewanna, and the hour prior to the service at the church.

He died at 1:15 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital, Port Charlotte, Fla. He was born June 9, 1902, in Pulaski County to John and Anna GAFF GARVER. On Feb. 20, 1924, he married Pauline BAGWELL in Winamac. She survives. He was a retired Union Township farmer and a member of the Star City United Methodist Church and the Modern Woodmen Association.

Surviving with the wife are three sons, Garold [GARVER], Rochester; Ralph [GARVER], Logansport, and Paul [GARVER], Mills, Wyo.; a sister, Ruth ROYER, Winamac; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. A son, two sisters and a brother preceded in death.
