Dorothy A. Bryant, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011. She was born June 2,1923 to Joe and Kate Chapman.

Dorothy graduated from Webster High School in 1941. She worked for Community State Bank for over twenty-five years. Dorothy enjoyed square dancing, quilting, reading, traveling, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husbands Gene Walner, 1942 – 1961; Wayne Ver Straeten, 1964 – 1972; and Norman Bryant, 1973 – 2008.

She is survived by her children, spouses. Dorothy is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

The wake service for Dorothy was held Friday evening and her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 1st at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
