Born at Mansfield, Illinois, his parents were W. C. Householder and Mary McKee Householder. He was married to Blanche Hester Lambird on June 18, 1919.
Mr. Householder was active in his community's affairs. He operated a service station at the Dundas Road Intersection with Rte. 130 for several years, he was an elected Justice of the Peace for Preston township and operated a carpenter and repair shop. He possessed a friendly and warm nature which gained him a wide acquaintance of friends.
He leaves his wife Blanche, a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel L. and Ann Householder of Lafayette, Indiana, a grandson Steven Householder and a sister Mrs. Essie Stephen of Chicago.
He has been preceded in death by a son Marion Herman who died in infancy and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Memorial Chapel
