Mr. Dapiran was a registered architect for more that 40 years for the Chicago engineering and architectural firm of NOBB prior to his retirement in 1998. He was a Korean War veteran where he served as a lieutenant for the 698th AAA Gun Battalion and was a member of the American Legion Merle Guild Post 28.
He is survived by his wife, Lolagene (nee Bruder) whom he married Sept. 10, 1960; a son, John S. of McHenry; sisters-in-law, Elayne Bruder and Virginia (Arnold) Desjarlais; a niece; and many relatives and friends.
Committal services were held Aug. 3 at Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wis.
