This was my baby boy Duke. He was the greatest friend ever. A true part of our family and our lives. As he grew up, my dad William Hustis Jr hated him for barking at night. Used to tell me to "get rid of that s.o.b. He keeps waking me up!". Then one night he woke us all up and we found a bunch of people sneaking around in our back yard. After that night Duke and my dad were inseparable. When I would come home, Duke would always be right there next to my dad. He followed him for every step he took. When dad had the heart attack in the back yard and the paramedics were working on him, Duke freaked out and they had to lock him up in a bed room until I got him. Duke cried for days and for years he always took up his position next to dads chair always hoping he was gonna come back. I know that Dukes right next to dad right now where he belongs...
