MOLTER, Harold M., 75, of Auburn passed away unexpectedly February 24, 2011. He was born June 29, 1935, in New Brighton, PA, to the late Elmer Byron and Esther Mae Molter. In 1996, Harold retired from the Bridgeport Public Schools system, where he was a psychologist. He earned his BS from the University of Pittsburgh and his PhD from Michigan State University. He also attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston and was a gifted trombonist and arranger who led his own jazz orchestra in the Pittsburgh area in the 1960s. He was a US Army veteran, having served with the 129th Army Band in France and Germany. He loved traveling in his RV and enjoyed annual trips to transportation shows and museums around the US. He is survived by a sister, Pat, and a brother, Dave, both in Pennsylvania; two nieces; and one nephew. He was preceded in death by a brother, E. Byron Molter Jr.
