Victor Lee Scott, 63, of Bellefontaine passed away Wednesday morning, Sept. 21, 2011, at his home.
He was born in Bellefontaine on Feb. 26, 1948, to Rebecca Cheeseman Scott Broaddus, who survives, and the late Jason Scott.
Victor worked for the Logan County Sheriff's Department from June 1981 through June 2006. He was a member of Vineyard Christian Church and a 1966 graduate of Bellefontaine High School.
On June 8, 1985, he married the former Judith Skinner in Bellefontaine, and she survives, along with daughters, Victoria (Jordan) Kesler of Bellefontaine, Sonya Losey of Middleburg and Kathy Scott of Kenton; a son, Thomas G. (Tami) Scott of DeGraff; five grandchildren, Russell Harp and Gage, Logan, Jacob and Liam Scott; a brother, Matthew (JoAnn) Scott of Englewood, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pastor Chuck Temple conducts a funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine where calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and an hour prior to the service. Burial is in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
