CHARLES E. BROWN Passed away on September 14, 2011 after a brief illness in Menifee, CA. Charles was born on the family farm near Cambridge Township, MO on October 7, 1922, the first born son of Charles and Nelle Brown. He is survived by his daughters, Karen (William) and Janice (William); his brother Jesse; his granddaughters, Lisa (John Paul) and Shannon (Michael) and his eight great-grandchildren, Taylor, Sophia, Molly, Mateo, Jacob, Connor, Christian and Bryce. He was married to Eva for 62 years until her death in 2008. Charles lived in Hemet for over 20 years after retiring from a successful career as a life insurance executive. He was a veteran of World War II. Charles loved the outdoors and camping. He was devoted to his family and spent many years tenderly caring for Eva who suffered from Alzheimer's disease. A celebration of Charles' life will be held at 11am on September 22nd at Hemet United Methodist Church, 530 S. Buena Vista, Hemet, burial to follow at Riverside National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests donations in Charles' honor to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association .
