Charlie was survived by his mother and father, Anna May and Ole Guy Michael; two sisters, Cora and Edith Pearl Michael; and a brother, Lawrence Guy Michael; and grandmother, Lodena Rachel Gano Michael. He was preceded in death by grandfather, John Michael; grandfather, Ezra M. Smith and grandmother, Martha Johnson Smith.
Burial was in Westview Cemetery, Prairie City, Iowa.
