Mr. Byram was born July 28, 1936 in the Maple Community of Red River County a son of Robert True and Rosa Lena Cook Byram.
He is survived by five children, Tony, Cindy and Ricky Byram and Pam Dill all of Bogata, and Johnny Byram of Lubbock, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
One brother Harold Byram of Bonham and two sisters Mildred Sampson of Greenville and Billie Northcut of Bogata.
He was preceded in death by six brothers Elvin, Bobby Joe, Jimmy, Leon, James and Tommy Byram and a sister Nola Faye Swift and an infant son Bryan Keith Byram
At his request his body was cremated under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held Monday Sept 19 at 2:00 pm at the Bogata Church of God with Sister Ethel Elrod officiating.
