Her family moved to Independence Co. AR and she met and married Rev. Edwin Luther Massey October 2, 1875. She went with him throughout his preachings. They had 5 children.
When she died she was buried at Lee's Chapel Cemetery outside of Moorefield, Independence Co., AR along side of her husband.
