He was appointed to the Perryville Circuit from 1883-1885, then served the Rover Circuit from 1886-1887, Then moved to the Atkins Circuit in 1888-1891, Then he was President Elder in the Eureka Springs Ditrict in 1892, Then was moved to the Eureka Spring Station in 1893-1894, Then went onto Paris and Roseville Station in 1895, Was moved to the Ozark Station in 1896, Then Springdale in 1897-1898, and finally transferred to the Indian Mission in OK in 1898.
He first married Missouri A. Gunn d/o Andrew C. Gunn and Sarah Louisa Tucker 4 Oct 1874 in Moorefield, Independence Co., AR. She died 3 Mar 1875 in Moorefield, Independence Co., AR. He then married Isabella Virginia Morgan d/o William Goode Morgan II and Rutha W. Sledge on October 2, 1875 in Arkansas and they had issue.
He died March 7, 1909 and was buried Mar 1909 in Lee's Chapel Cemetery just outside of Moorefield, AR along with his family.
