Born January 22, 1913, in Garfield, Md. He was the son of the late Charles Elmer and Annie Mae (Lewis) Kuhn.
He worked as a farmer for 10 years for John Cline. He then worked for Green and Dailey Construction in Hagerstown, Md, and for Buzz Baer Contractor.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Wolfsville, Md.
He was a member of American Legion Post 211 in Funkstown; and a past member of the N.R.A.
He is survived by three sisters, Rosa Kline of Wolfsville, Ethel Wolfe of Smithsburg and Mabel Jenkins of Culpeper, Va.; and a brother David F. Kuhn of Hagerstown,Md.
He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Salem United Methodist Church in Wolfsville, Md., pastor Randy Reid will officiate. Burial will be in Garfield United Methodist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home in Smithsburg, Md.
