Chester Raymond Fleeman, 95 of Waxahachie, Texas passed away early Wednesday, August 29, 2019 in Mansfield, Texas. He was born on October 20, 1923 to the late Millard Jasper & Stella Rose Herring Fleeman in Avalon, Texas. Chester was a graduate of Avalon High School and later went on to serve in US Navy during WWII as a Radioman Second Class where he received a Purple Heart. After the military he was a farmer in Avalon, Texas, worked for Chance Vault for 9 years and then worked for Tyler Refrigeration as a foreman until his retirement 29 years later. After retirement Chester worked for Solon Apartments and Solon Place Storage until his health wouldn’t allow it any longer. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all that knew him and loved him.

Chester is survived by his two daughters: Glenda Kay Freeman and Charlotte Sue Mellos; Granddaughter: Stacie Watson, Great Grandchildren: Thomas Campbell and Sophia Watson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, children’s mother Barbara Bearden Fleeman and wife Esta Lee Fleeman, Brothers; Roy and Clarence Fleeman; Son: C. Roy Fleeman, Jr. and sister Marie.
