OGDEN - Norman F. Agricola, 84, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family, Friday, January 30, 2004.

He was born December 7, 1919 in Tremonton, Utah, the son of Frank and Lena (Miller) Agricola. He had one brother and one sister. He graduated from Weber State University.

He was married to Elizabeth (DeWilde) Agricola for 52 years.

He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during World War ll. He was a shipfitter in addition to which, he was a first class gunner and gun captain. He also went through the Pearl Harbor attack on the USS Balch. His ship was ordered back out to sea before they were attacked. His family was very proud of him for his service to his country.

Norm owned and operated several businesses during his lifetime. He owned a Sinclair gas station and Doc and Norm's Cafe. He was a great cook and his deviled eggs were the best ever. He retired from the State of Utah as a diesel mechanic and was a member of the Eagle's Lodge. Norm loved to fish and would go every chance he could with anyone who would take him.

He loved to watch sports, especially baseball. He also loved having his family together at Thanksqiving, Christmas, or camplng, hunting and fishing. His greatest love was his beautitul vegetable garden in the summer. Many people will miss his gardening.

Norm is survived by his wife Elizabeth: his children, Russell Aqricola of Ogden, Robin (Steven) Rirbino of No. Ogden, Ranae Agricola of No. Ogden and Norma (Corey) Theall of Ogden; two grandchildren that he was very proud of, Brandy Hulmston of No. Ogden and Tyler Rubino of No. Ogden; one brother, Calvin Agricola of St. George and one sister, Nola Pickett of Lawrence, Kansas. Also, many nieces and one nepnew.

Norm is preceded in death by his father, mother, several aunts and uncles and other family and friends.

Husband, Dad and Gramps, we miss you. and love you and hope you are having the time of your life, fishing. "Until we meet again."

A viewinq will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2004 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Graveside services will be held Friday, February 6,2004 at 3 p.m. at Linbquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 So. Washinqton Blvd., where Military Honors will be accorded by the combined Veterans Honor Guard.
