Philip Ryan Guidry was born in Fort Hood, Bell County, Texas to Richard"Rick" Roman and Barbara Jean (Hromas) Guidry. He died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the Alexandria Veterans Administration Hospital in Pineville, Lousiana.
Services will be Friday, September 16, 2011 at 11 am at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, 9891 Texas Hwy. Interment will follow in the Aimwell Cemetery with full military honors.
Visitation will be from 5pm-9pm on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Philip graduated from Anacoco High School in 1992. He served his country in the U.S. Army for 16 years as a Military Policeman. During his service to his country he served in Germany, Rwanda, Bosnia, Haiti, Korea, and stateside at Fort Belvoir, Virginia and Ft. Polk, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eugene Edward and Loraine Mae(Williams) Hromas and paternal grandfather, John Harry Guidry.
Left to chierish his memory is his wife, Tricia Matheny Guidry and four daughters, Alyssa N., Alyczandra M., Arawyn J. and Aslynn P. Guidry of DeRidder; parents, Richard"Rick" and Barbara Jean(Hromas) Guidry, Many, La.; paternal grandmother, Mildred Guidry, Rayne, La.; one brother Patrick Guidry and Wife Shannon of Simpson, La.; and nephews A.J. and Noah Guidry.
Serving as pallbearers will be the Military Honor Guard.
