He was a 1970 graduate of Salisbury High School and was employed as a communications specialist at the Com Center, City of Allentown, for 27 years. A Salisbury Township emergency management director, he was a member of the Eastern Salisbury Fire Rescue and Ambulance Fire Police; Lehigh County Fire Police Association and Salisbury Township Fireman's Relief Association.
