A MARINE'S TALK WITH GOD
Dear God, please find the time
To look down from your heaven divine
And see this Marine
Be his eyes in this strange land
Give to him the strength
That he may stand against this terrorist band
Help him as he clings to the belief
That all oppressed people must be free
And when this subversion is brought to an end
Take him by the hand
And show him what he helped
Accomplish for this land
