Funeral services for Mrs. Mae Trevoline (Garrett) Flowers, 86, of Monroe,
were conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2008 from Brown Funeral
Chapel with Bro. J.C. Denny officiating.
Burial was in Wirmingham Cemetery.
Mrs. Flowers died Thursday, May 22 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was
a homemaker and past employee of U.T. Extension Office in Pickett County.
She also attended Bethsaida Christian Church and the Bolestown Community
Center.
Born August 14, 1921, in Pickett County, she was the daughter of the late
Willie and Jessie (Harrison) Garrett. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Flowers; a sister, Esther
Garrett; and three brothers, Emery Garrett, Faty Garrett, and Carlos
Garrett.
