James "Jimmy" McConville, 87, of OKC, died May 15, 2010. He was born Jan. 11, 1923 in Wilburton, OK to Thomas J. and Mary E. McConville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois McConville; his parents; brothers, Tommy, Hugh, Mickey, and Gene McConville; and sisters, Mary Laurence and Elizabeth McAuliff. Jimmy is survived by two sons, Mike McConville and Davey Johnson; four daughters, Barbara Clemens, Glenda Jordan, Kim Simon and Tammy Stewart; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Pat; and numerous nieces and nephews. During WWII, Jimmy served in the Navy. He loved his family, and he loved golf. Always the life of the party, he will be sorely missed. A wake will be held at 6pm, Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am, Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at St. Joseph Old Cathedral, 307 NW 4th, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery in Wilburton, OK.
