Henrietta Ruth Case Adams, 69, of Shive, died May 21 at her home after a short illness.
Memorial services were Tuesday, May 24, at First United Methodist Church in Evant with Rev. Marc Rogers officiating.
Mrs. Adams was born June 5, 1924, in Evanston, Ill., the daughter of P.F. and Ruth Miller Case. She and J. W. "Buster" Adams were married on Dec.18, 1945, at the Case Ranch in Eldorado.
She was active in the art club in Hamilton and was well known for her work with the Spinning Wheel. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Evant.
Survivors include her husband, Buster Adams of the Shive Community; three children, Kathleen Ruth Adams of Austin, Anne Adams Winters, and William W. "Bill" Adams; a sister, Helen Brigham; a brother, Fred H. Case; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan W. Adams.
