Funeral Services For Pearl Armentrout Wednesday, June 7

Mary Pearl, daughter of James and Louisa Marshall Scott was born June 13, 1991 in Bates County, near Amsterdam, Missouri. She departed this life on June 5, 1967 at the Pine Tree Nursing Home. She was 85 years, 11 months and 22 days old.
She was united in marriage to George Wilson Armentrout on June 7, 1903. To this union was born 3 children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, her husband and sons. Her husband passed away November 7, 1926, her son George, November 14, 1932 and Scott, September 14, 1955, and an infant son who died at birth.
She had been an invalid for the past 58 years. She attended the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church as long as she was able. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins and also a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at the Adrian Baptist Church June 7, 1967 at 2:30pm conducted by Rev. Robert Ballantyne. Interment was in Scott cemetery under the direction of the Atkinson Dickey Funeral Home, Adrian.
