She transferred to Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York and graduated in 1950. She enjoyed an active career singing in musical comedy, concerts, and operas. She was soprano soloist with the Pasadena Presbyterian Church, lead soprano soloist with the Guild Opera of Los Angeles, and sung soprano solos with the Salt Lake City Oratoris Society in the Tabernacle, Salt Lake City, Utah.
