Mrs. Johannah G. Carlson, 81, died at the family home in Willard Sunday evening at six-thirty o'clock. Mrs. Carlson was born in Solberga, Sweden, September 17, 1852, a daughter of Mathias and Magdelene Carlson. She was married to Axel Carlson in Sweden in 1873. They became converts to the L.D.S. church and emigrated to Utah in 1884. They resided in Richmond and Ogden for a few years and later moved to Willard.
Mr. Carlson died in May, 1913.

Mrs. Carlson was a worker in the Relief society of- Willard ward. She is survived by five sons: Alfred Carlson of Sacramento, Cal.; Joseph W. Carlson of Ogden; Arthur C. Carlson of Willard; John Carlson of Salt Lake City, and Axel Carlson of Blackfoot, Idaho; three daughters, Mrs. Emanuel Braegger of Willard, Mrs. David Robinson of Morgan, and Mrs. James Woodland of Pocatello, Idaho; a brother, Axel Carlson of Jamestown, N. Y.; a sister, Mrs. Augusta Holmberg of Willard; 34 grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren, and one great- grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock in the Willard L. D. S. ward chapel, with Bishop Ephraim White offici- ating. Friends may call at the home of Arthur C. Carlson in Willard Tuesday afternoon and evening and Wednesday until the time of services. Interment, will take place in the Willard cemetery. Lindquist & Sons are in charge of arrangements.
