CARMODY, JULIA MARIE, passed away on Aug. 29, 2011. She was 84 on August 24. Born in 1927 to Charles and Agnes Moran in Grand Rapids, MI, she was the oldest of three daughters. On July 19, 1952, she married Robert L. Carmody. They were married for 59 years and have two children and two grandchildren. Julia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a Realtor in the Orlando area for more than 40 years before her retirement in 2004. Mrs. Carmody was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church since 1965 and an active member in the community as well. She is survived by her husband Robert; son Kevin (Susan) Carmody; daughter, Kathleen Carmody, both of Winter Park. Julia is also survived by two grandchildren, Matthew and Andrew Carmody, who reside in Winter Park; two sisters, Theresa Ann Haase of Northville, MI, and Catherine Elizabeth Williams of Grand Rapids, MI.
