Jessie Martin Carroll 76, of Hilliard died July 12 at Life Care Center of Hilliard.
He had retired from the city of Jacksonville and then went to work with the Nassau County Road Department for 20 yeas before retiring again. He was member of the First Assembly of God of Hilliard.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Carroll of Hilliard, three daughters, Donna Kay Carroll, Angie B. Carroll and Lena Diane (Mark) Strickland, one son John Marty (Dawn) Carroll. Sisters, Violet Betts and Rosie Higginbotham, brother, Jimmy Carroll and for grandchildren, Michael John Rowe, Justin Michael Carroll, Angel Camelich and Amy Carroll.
Service was Wednesday at Callahan Funeral Home with the Rev. Arlie Johns officiating. Burial was in Mills Creek Cemetery.
