Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 until 7 p.m., at Ward Funeral Home in Washington.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 7, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Washington.
Burial will be in the Washington City Cemetery.
Laura was born December 8, 1906, daughter of Nathan Kimball and Myrtle Eugenia (Faulk) Day. She was born and raised in Washington County. Graduated from Scruby Country School and attended two years of high school at Washington. On March 4, 1927, she married George William Waterman.
In 1949, they left the farm and moved to Washington. Laura was a clerk at JCPenney in Washington for 13 years. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. She was a charter member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; and daughter, Bonnie Loree Underwood.
Survivors include one daughter, Marianne Haag, Osage City, KS; fiver grandchildren; and many great, and great-greatgrand children.
A memorial fund is established in her name and will be designated by the family. Contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home.
