LaDonna Gayle Black, 75-year-old Ringwood OK resident, was born June 29, 1936, in Binger OK and died August 22, 2011, at her home. She was reared from the age of five by her mother and step-father, William "Bill" South. She attended Enid schools. In 1952, she married Ronald "Tony" Daykin; they had four children: Pat, Steve, Pam, and Kenny. They later divorced. On April 29, 1977, she married Herman Dwain Black and welcomed six additional children: Beckey, Mickey, Tami, Jim, Ruth Ann, and Anita. LaDonna worked at the Enid State School in inventory control for over 20 years. She was a longtime member of the Ringwood Baptist Church. She was very active in her children's and granchildren's school and sports activities. She and her husband liked to dance. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, and crochet. She and her husband raised two of their grandsons, and she never met a stranger.

LaDonna is survived by her husband Dwain of the home; children Beckey, Mickey, Tami, Jim, Ruth Ann, Anita, Pat, and Pam; 17 grandchidren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers Lonnie and Tommy Brandenburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded by her parents, sons Steven and Kenny, sister Gertrude Meyers, and step-father Bill.
