He retired in 1981 as an engineer at General Electric Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II and received the Purple Heart. Survivors: Several nieces and nephews. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Fairchild & Meech Syracuse Chapel. Burial, Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Onondaga Hill.
