Mr. and Mrs. Charles Davis Vaughan, Delphi, have announced the marriage of their daughter Nina Irene and Fred J. Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Stewart, Bedford.
The wedding ceremony was read on Feb. 2 by the Rev. C. C. Reimie of Logansport in the St. Mary's Episcopal church at Delphi. Miss Ina Mabel Vaughan was her twin sister's only attendant and Weldon Klepinger of Peru was best man.
The couple will reside in Bedford. The bride is a graduate of the Home Hospital School of Nursing at Lafayette.

Greenwood – Lee Franklin Stewart, 77, of Greenwood, formerly of Bedford, died Wednesday. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Lee Franklin Stewart, 77, Greenwood, formerly of Bedford, died at 1:51 p.m. on Wednesday at St. Francis South Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born July 1, 1933, in Monroe County, the son of Sanford Jackson and Rheba Rose (Lanham) Stewart. He married Shirley Ann Moffatt on Sept. 8, 1956, in Lawrence County, and she survives.
He attended Smithville schools.
He was an assembly worker at GE, retiring in 1993.
He attended Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene in Judah.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving with his wife, Shirley of Greenwood; are three daughters, one of Orleans, one of Indianapolis, and one of Madisonville, Ky.; three grandchildren; one sister; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Fred J. Stewart, Grant Stewart, and Ivan Stewart; and one sister, Ruth Smith.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford with Pastor Brent O'Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Hanson Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by American Legion Gillen Post No. 33.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
