A graveside service for Ida Violet Winterbank, 99, of Enid will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Waukomis Cemetery. The Rev. Ray Rose will officiate. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 29, 1908, southeast of Waukomis to Lee and Elsie Thorp and died Saturday, July 14, 2007, at the Commons.
She attended Waukomis schools and Pioneer school. She married Michael L. Winterbank Nov. 22, 1939. They divorced in 1959. They moved to Enid in 1952, where she worked at Vance Air Force Base and Enid High School.
Surviving are one son, Michael D. Winterbank of Crowley, Texas; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love or Garriott Road Church of Christ.
