MIDDLEBORO - Charles E.
Haley, 66, of 10 Rook St., died
unexpectedly at his home on Fri-
day.

A native of Brockton, he was
the son of the late Hiram and
Rose (Cassidy) Haley, and had
resided in Middleboro most of his
life. Prior to his retirement sev-
eral years ago, he was employed
with the Tri-City Construction
Co., Middleboro, for 15 years. A
World War II Army Coroporal,
he was a member of the Ameri-
can Legion Post 64 of Middle-
boro. He belonged to the Brock-
ton Teamsters Union and attend-
ed the Central Methodist Church,
Middleboro.

Surviving besides his widow,

daughter, Mrs. Everett (Con-
stance) Howell of England; a
brother, Hiram Haley, Jr. of
Middleboro; several grandchil-
dren, nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from
the Hayward Funeral Home, 33
Oak St., Middleboro, on Monday
at 2 P. M. with Rev. Harry
Soper, Jr., officiating. Burial will
be in Central Cemetery, Middle-
boro.
