Son of Daniel Etchison of North Carolina
(listed as David Etchison on transcription of TX Death Certificate. The actual certificate has the name as "Dan'l Etchison).

Age at death: 70 years;

Birth/Death dates are from Texas Death Certificate online at www.familysearch.org

Information from the Etchison family:
Alexander Harrison Etchison was the son of Daniel Etchison and Rebecca Shaver(Shafer). Although his father's name is listed as "David" on his death certificate [transcription], that information is incorrect. He was visited by his brother, Daniel M. Etchison (my great grandfather), shortly before his death and he and his family are listed in Alexander Etchison household in the 1910 census. Alexander had an older brother, Shadrick, who died in 1861 in Civil War, and three younger brothers, Daniel (my great grandfather), Henry, and Franklin. Daniel and Franklin were buried in Indiana; Henry, in North Carolina. Alexander's mother listed Alexander's birth date as June 12, 1840, on the back of his father's estate administration papers.
