A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux for Alfred "Ernest" Eugene Adams, 65, a native and resident of Thibodaux, who died Jan. 10, 1997. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.
He was the husband of Virgie Lee Thibodaux Adams; father of Lonnie, Edwin "Red" and Mark Adams and Rachel Skinner; brother of joseph "Joe" and Anthony Adams and Valerie Tabor. He is also survived by seven gand- children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Eleonore Oncale Adams; three brothers, Gilbert, Paul and John Adams; and three sisters, Mathilde Gilfour, Marie Allemand and Rose Gilfour.
