Teresa Cox passed away on August 17, 2011 in Austin, Texas. Teresa was born on September 5, 1926 in Ariccia, Rome, Italy to Umberto and Adele (Abatini) Ciaccio. She married Fred Cox on October 21, 1945 and came to America as a war bride in 1946. Teresa became an American citizen in 1949. They had 58 wonderful years together, living about 52 of these years in Austin with a short period of time spent in Belton, TX. Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Fred Cox, a brother and two sisters in Italy. Although she and Fred never had children of their own, she is survived by the extended family she loved and shared her life with which includes many nephews and nieces.
