Marjorie Louise Smith Blazer, age 69, of Parrottsville, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2001, at her home.

She was a member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Linton Blazer, Jr.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Luna (L.A.) Smith; sister, Alfreda (Smith) Wardroup; brothers, Jay, Cloyd, and Roy Smith, all of Parrottsville, and Lofton Smith, of Cottage Grove, Tennessee.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Sharon Blazer, of Parrottsville; sisters, Mrs. Iva (Smith) Marshall and Mrs. Essie Smith, both of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, at Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Eddie Blazer and Rev. Jimmy Fillers officiating, with burial in Luther Memorial Cemetery.

The family received friends 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., Saturday, at Manes Funeral Home.

Manes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
