Funeral services for Sarah S. Baylor (nee Scott), 59, of Algonquin, formerly of Alliance, Ohio, were held Oct. 6 at the Willow Creek Community Church, South Barrington. Born April 22, 1942, in Alliance, she died Oct. 3 at home. Mrs. Baylor was a graduate of Alliance High School and attended Canton Business College. She was co-owner of Anodyne Corp. and Fitness Specialties in Palatine, president of Nuclear Medical Supplies, and was a member of Willow Creek Community Church. She is survived by her husband, Gary D.; a daughter, Sabrina (Mick) Throw; grandchildren Dustin and David Throw; her mother, Dorothy (the late Vernon) Scott of Alliance; a brother, Tom Scott of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; and sisters Irene (Richard) Stackhouse and Marie (Ed) Shanks, both of Alliance. Burial was in Windridge Memorial Park Cemetery, Cary. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington, Ill. 60010. Arrangements were made with Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, Palatine.
