A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St.
Genevieve Church in Thibodaux for Cecile Braud, 94, a native and resident of Thibodaux, who died Oct. 6, 1994.
Burial was at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
She was the mother of Louis P. Braud. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren
and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry P. Braud; parents, Albert and Alice Reahl Boudreaux; a son, Richard "Dickie" Braud; a grandson, Peter Braud; a great-granddaughter, Andrea Braud; three sisters; and two brothers.
