IDA RUTH MARTIN
Ida Ruth Martin, 63, of Pacific Beach, who started AAAA Bonding Agency with her husband 25 years ago, died Wednesday in a hospital.
Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Pacific Beach Mortuary. Internment will be at the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
Mrs. Martin was born in Wilson County, Kan., and moved to San Diego County 33 years ago. She continued operating the bail bond company with her sons after the death of her husband, George, in 1976 and worked until she became ill last January.
She was the past president of the Ocean Beach Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary; a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of Pacific Beach, and the World War I Veterans Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons, George A. of Valley Center and John H. of San Diego; two daughters, including Ruthann Lafever of San Diego; two sisters; and 10 grandchildren.
