Mrs. Willie Havaner Tubbs, 78, widow of Bill Tubbs, died yesterday afternoon at the Decatur County General Hospital after a long illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Cedar Hill Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in the church cemetery. Parsons Mortuary has charge.
She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Ludell Gulledge of Holladay, Mrs. Oma West of Gadsden, Mrs. Mavis Taylor of Parsons and Mrs. Patricia Mills of Wildersville; 10 sons, Rev. Edd Tubbs, Lenoise Tubbs, Paul Tubbs, Jerry Tubbs, Stanley Lewis Tubbs, William O. Tubbs and Ralph Tubbs, all of Parsons, Billy Tubbs and Bedford Tubbs, both of Holladay, and Bobby Joe Tubbs of Wldersville; a sister, Mrs. Alta Renfroe of Parsons; 51 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
