WARREN "DICK" BAHR Born 7/11/1920 in Roscoe, South Dakota. Passed away on 8/9/2011 in Riverside. He was part of the Greatest Generation, and was known as one of the kindest, most generous of all men. He lived in Yankton, South Dakota where he worked as a telegrapher on the railroad. He volunteered to join the Marine Corps during WWII. He met and married his wife in Yankton, South Dakota. From there, they moved to Riverside in 1953, and he worked for the U. S. Post Office as manager of bulk mail until his retirement in 1984. He enjoyed golfing for many years, and he was a member of the Riverside V.F.W. post. He belonged to St. Catherine's Church since 1956. He was a beloved husband to Cathy for 63 years, a loving father to Janell Bahr-Crow of Riverside, and a proud grandfather to Ryan Crow of Long Beach. He was loved by many family and friends and will be so greatly missed. He will be buried at Riverside National Cemetery.
