Mrs. Molly Maude Presnall, 88, of 335 - 24th St. SE, died Thursday in a Salem nursing home.

Mrs. Presnall came to Salem from Eugene over 60 years ago. She was a housekeeper and later matron for many years at the state's old Boys Training School in the Cottage Farm area southeast of Salem. Her late husband, Henry R. Presnall, was long-time farm supervisor for the school.

They left the school in the late 1920's to operate a paint store in Downtown Salem. Mrs. Presnall was a past royal matron of Hanna Rosa Court, Order of Amaranth, and a member of the Methodist Church. She was born at Eugene, and attended University of Oregon before coming to Salem in 1903.

She leaves one brother, Claude C. Hammitt, San Jose, California. Arrangements are pending at W. T Rigdon Funeral Home.
