Graveside services were held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Wayne James, Westside Baptist Church officiating.
He was survived by his wife Lucille; two daughters, Maye Dean Parkins and Sheila Kay Stamper, both of Las Cruces; son Phillip Wingert of Houston; mother Ella Mae Wingert of Dallas; brother Keener Wingert of Stockton, MO; sister Barbara Bryant of Dallas; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
