J. Dean Wingert, 67, 1107 McFie, died at his home Friday. He was the son of Floyd and Ella Wingert.
He had lived here since 1932.
He was retired from E. B. Law and Sons Transportation.
Graveside services were held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Wayne James, Westside Baptist Church officiating.
He was survived by his wife Lucille; two daughters, Maye Dean Parkins and Sheila Kay Stamper, both of Las Cruces; son Phillip Wingert of Houston; mother Ella Mae Wingert of Dallas; brother Keener Wingert of Stockton, MO; sister Barbara Bryant of Dallas; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
