She was the daughter of Kinchen & Winifred Best Taylor. A proven lineage for the SAR and DAR. She was the first wife of of John J. Edmundson and to this union they had two children that lived to adulthood.
1) William R. Edmundson
2) Andrew Jackson Edmundson

Note that Andrew's name is mention in his youngest half-brother's obituary.
