CARROLL - Dennis G. Carroll, 60, went to be with our Lord on December 25, 1998.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Ann Carroll. Two daughters; Lisa (Scott) Johnson, and Debbie (Steve) Linley. 5 grandchildren; Ashlei,Brandon,Matthew,Megan, and Macy. His mother in law, Alice Hart. 5 sisters; Elsie Hodges, Lil Hartley, Nellie Johnson, Ida Canaday, Mary Paul. 2 brothers; A.J. and Noah Carroll.
Mr. Carroll was retired from the City of Jacksonville after 33 years of service. He was an active member of Dinsmore Baptist Church for over 34 years, serving as a deacon since 1969, and sang with the Believer's Quartet for over 18 years.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 Wednesday, December 30, 1998 from Dinsmore Baptist Church, with Dr. Winson Butler, Dr.Jacks Stolte, and Rev. Roger Taylor, officiating.
Interment will follow in JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS. The family will received friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from six until eight.
