She was a native of Louisville, born November 7, 1908, to the late George and Sara Florence (Blake) Hopkins. She was a homemaker, a 70-year member of Wall Street United Methodist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Jeffersonville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Adams, and a daughter, Beverly Ann Tether. She is survived by a daughter, Carol VanCader and her husband, Thomas C., of Jeffersonville; a son-in-law, John E. Tether of Louisville; and two grandsons, Christopher L. VanCader and Thomas A. VanCader, both of Jeffersonville.
